The Kadpoly institution observe the annual international conference/ general meeting on the 25th and 26th of October 2023 in the chemical engineering Hall of the Institution.

The whole of the Department of Mass communication of the Northern regions where all in attendance, students of the pretigious institution were all in attendance actively.

The Just concluded ACCE Meeting was an impactful for both staff and students of the Department of Mass communication of many institution Representative that were in attendance.

The students were fully educated on the benefits of online journalism as a profession, also who to manage and filter information that fly on air.tips and hints on how to be a professional freelancer were also disseminated meticulously during the events.

Professors Chris OWolumati Ogbondah and Professor Emeretus, Extensively educated the on the students current global Analysis of the online profession As a Train professional Journalism.

Conclusively, Professor Chris sincerely appreciate the students in attendance from the inception of the event to the very last day, for their cooperation and commitment to the success of the event, he sincerely appreciate the student

by aishat My favorite subject in school was art. My school had a huge art department and an amazing studio. I spent most of my high school years in the art room. I even had the chance to take a photography class where I developed film. (I’m aging myself here!)

Best of all was the staff. Mr. Loomis was the teacher I had the most. Almost all of my art classes were with him—poor man. LOL. One day I was really struggling and he took me aside, not to lecture me or to demand more, but to tell me that he saw real talent in me, that he believed in me, and that I should believe in myself too.

I’ve never forgotten that day.

To Mr. Loomis, and all of the other teachers out there, I hope you know how valuable you are. You make the future happen.

According to Educeleb report, the total number of children who are out of school in Nigeria from the six geopolitical zone are 10,193,918.

The report shows that the South Eastern region including Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia, Imo and Anambra State has the highest number of children out of school with the sum total of 713,176.

The North Western region; Sokoto, Zamfara, Kaduna, Kebi, Kano and Katsina top second with the total of 3,490671 compared to the North Eastern part (Jigawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe, Borno, Adamawa and Taraba) that has a total of 2,001,038.

Similarly, the South Western region which comprises of six States including Lagos, Oyo, Ondo, Osun, Ekiti and Ogun has a total of 1,451,740 while the North Central part; FCT, Niger, Plateau, Nasarawa, Kwara, Kogi and Benue took second as the lowest zone with the total of 1,329,111.

Conclusivelly, the South South region was said to have the lowest number of children out of school with the total of 1,208,182.The South South region includes;Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, River, Akwa Ibom and Cross River State.

Rabiat Kolawole a graduate of Kadpoly from Accounting department was the lone survivor in the unfortunate auto crash that happened weeks back along with some other Corp members passed on yesterday in the morning at 44 hospital after several efforts to sustain her life. May God forgive her sins and create a special place for her to heaven, may he also grant her family fortitude to bear the loss. RIP 🕊
