What was your favorite subject in school?

by aishat My favorite subject in school was art. My school had a huge art department and an amazing studio. I spent most of my high school years in the art room. I even had the chance to take a photography class where I developed film. (I’m aging myself here!)
Best of all was the staff. Mr. Loomis was the teacher I had the most. Almost all of my art classes were with him—poor man. LOL. One day I was really struggling and he took me aside, not to lecture me or to demand more, but to tell me that he saw real talent in me, that he believed in me, and that I should believe in myself too.
I’ve never forgotten that day.
To Mr. Loomis, and all of the other teachers out there, I hope you know how valuable you are. You make the future happen.
